I made this for a lady at work who got a new job! It was for her send off! I kinda like it! :) It is simple and easy.


I love doing cards that are simple, clean and easy! I don't like to create cards that are 500+ steps... I love to look at them.. but I am never very good at making them! LOL

My own card challenge

Well I have been making the cards... just not loading them here... It is hard to remember to get it done! LOL LOL Anyway... the next few cards were really hard.. the paper choices I randomly picked out of my scraps holder... well they sucked! LOL LOL I hope I did ok with them! LOL LOL I hope I get some better choices this time! LOL

A card a day!

So I have decided to make a card everyday. I am going to pull 3 random pieces of cardstock each day and then make a card using all three pieces. Here is the card I made today!!!

Challenge Day 1

Stamp Camp!!!!

I am having a Stamp Camp on Sept 20th!!! The hostess and I share a B-day and so we decided to have a joint stamp camp!!! Here are the cards we are going to do!! ENJOY! LOL







I have to admit.. They are not all my ideas!!! Some I got from swaps with fellow Demos... the gift card I got from K. Warner's blog, and even from Stampin' Sucess.

Stampin' Event!

Today I went to an event and my swap card won 1st prize!!! Wow was I shocked! It felt really good. What a boost to my self-esteem! I needed it! I feel ready to start up with business again!

Anyway,.... here is the card I made:


The flower is made with Stampin' Up!'s circle scallop punch.. and then you smash the paper around to loosen the fibers and then tear them apart and then I slit the scallops all the way around.

It is very easy!!!! Anyone can do it!!! Try it out!

So last night I had to go to a really sort of DUMB going away party for a friend. No one planned anything.. so we just sat and talked and stared at each other and THEN we HAD to play a few stupid games!!!??? Why? It was horrible EXCEPT.. I think I have a new contact person for my stampin' up business!!!!! :) She is a partylite demo... and I gave her my Stampin' Up card. She was excited to give me a call! YEAH!

I think I can rebuild my business again! I think it will be slow, but who knows! :)

My BABY is getting so OLD!!!

My oldest is turning 9 tomorrow! :( I am so upset! HE is getting so old... which in turn.. means I am getting old! LOL

He is such a great boy! What a blessing he has been in my life! From the moment I met him I was in love!

Back to work

Boy do I wish I was still on vacation! I did not want to wake up today and go to work! UGGGGGGG!!!!!! Not to mention... Nicco woke me up at 2:30am screaming for me because he was sick... and had a high fever! He still has a little one today, but I gave him some meds, and made him take a cool bath. I think that he is starting to cool down a little. Work was... well, hard! I am so over working for a living! LOL

First Post

Here it is!!! Here is my first blog post!!!

Just got back from Stampin' Up! Convention!!!!! WOW it was awesome! I loved every minute of it... EXCEPT!!!!!! it was so hot I felt like my skin was melting off of my face and body! :( LOL ..

The boys decided to come with me... and we drove.. it was miserable! 14 hours in the car each way. Thankfully my parents live almost half way in-between... so we were able to stop and crash there and they fed us! MMMMMMMMMMMMMM gotta love that!

My swap card was very simple and easy to make.. I love simple cards.. Everything I used to make this card was from Stampin' Up! Feel Free to use this idea or change it!
