Scraps and Bits

I have a HUGE HUGE accordian folder full of scraps and then a tons of paper pieces on top of it. I have sort of let organization have a vacation! The scraps are normally organized in this folder by color. :)

I created this card using scraps, my Bigshot and a jewel for some bling!!! :) I love creating simple cards. I think you can make a big impact with a little amount of details! :)

Let me know what you think! :)

More homemade patterned paper

I know that this isn't a whole page of pattern... BUT this is a fun way to add that little extra to your card! The little rosette is make using a 1" circle punch. Punch out 2 circles. Rub them together until the fibers start to split, tear them apart and layer on top of each other. Using a little thread and a needle sew them together like a button. Tie off and adhere to the card/ project using a glue dot or foam tape. Super easy and fun!!!!

(Please don't hate on my camera skills! LOL I am working on learning how to shoot better pics of my stuff! :)
Thanks for looking! :) Enjoy!!!

How do you create???

I usually draw or map out what I want the card to look like.. then the hard part comes.. Making the card or item so it turns out like what I have drawn! LOL sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. My maps usually lead to other ideas, but are a good start! I am not very good and taking what other people make and switching up colors or images to match my style. For some reason I have to do it my way! LOL Hmmmm wonder if that says something about me!!! LOL I have notebooks full of ideas of items to create!! I now am going to start going through all of them and doing them!!!! FUN!!!

Here is a little drawing of how I create! How do you do it??? Would love to see some of your creative processes! :)

Until next time!!! Have a great day all! :)

My Digital Studio

Here are is a project I made using the My Digital Studio from Stampin' Up!

I love using simple layouts and colors. All of the digital products I use are the same products that come with the original My Digital Studio. I have not purchased extra anything. :) You can do a lot with what just comes with the digital software. I do love some of the downloads though I have to admit!

**All supplies Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted :) **
Supplies: Kiwi Kiss CS, Whisper White CS, Sweet Stitches DSP, Sew Suite rubber stamp set, Build-a-Brad, Dimensionals, Basic Black classic ink, Mambo Melon and Kiwi Kiss classic ink, Aqua painter.

On this card I used simple techniques to make a fun card! I used a build a brad for an accent with a button cut out of the extra patterned paper and then stamped the Spool and Pin cushion onto cardstock and watercolored them and then cut them out and used a dimensional to "puff up" the pin cushion.

Well I am off now to sleep! I think that I caught a cold on my trip this weekend. :( uggg.. Hate being sick!

Take care all!

Stephanie
